The stage
34° Stage: from Siena to Ponte d’Arbia
This is a long stage, with a low height difference, but all in the open. Be careful in the hot months and make sure you leave well supplied with water.
Along the way to visit the fortified farm of Grancia di Cuna (in the twelfth century hospital for pilgrims of the Francigena) and Lucignano d’Arbia with its beautiful old town.
Following the old railway you get to Ponte d’Arbia and at the end of the stage.
